| Oinking/Snorting like a pig??? Hello everyone! I have Link, a 6 month old male Rotti, and in the last 2 weeks he has starting making a funny noise whenever he sniffs something. It is a cross between an oink and a snort. It is funny to listen to and if it is normal, fine, but is it??? He seems to do it more if he is leaning down to sniff so I am wondering if that has anything to do with it. Otherwise he is completely happy and healthy. We love him like crazy and want to make sure he is okay. Any suggestions?  |

| My puppy of 7 years snorts like that when she is really happy and excited. The sound of a happy dog:D |

| I don't know about the oinking, but my female always makes the most dramatic noises, in addition to the heavy sigh, theres the hmpf and snorting, when she thinks I've forgotten about the walk, they are truly clowns.

| Aah yes, the Rottweiler snort. You'll learn to love it. I find it very distinctive and an inspiration for even more nicknames for Shea aka Bucksnort, Piglet, Piggy. |

| Then my boyfriend and I don't have to feel bad about being amused by his silly little noises. I wanted to make sure this was normal before we chuckled about it. He does sound like a little piggy, I love it!!! Just one more thing that I have found that I love about this breed, they are amazing.:D :D |

| Haha! Truffles...hmmm.... :D Nothing on Pugs or other squishy faced dogs though. I used to have a French Bulldog, she snorted just breathing. Once you got used to it, it was totally adorable.

| Hehe...I call Wookie a kitty-piggy-bear-puppy cause she thinks she's a kitty, she snorts like a piggy, she walks like a bear, and what she actually is, whether she knows it or not, is a puppy!:)
