where do you feed your dogs?

I was reading some posts and saw that people feed their dogs in some ( to me at least) strange places and wonder why they feed them there.
Indy ( the sheltie) eats in the kitchen and so did Chivas, across from each other. Zeke (the old mixed breed) eats in the computor room because he will stop eating if you watch him and the other dogs can run him off his bowl.
We had to feed Roxie outside because she was food agressive (mistreated rescue) and her and Chivas werent the best buds.

Julius usually eats his food in his crate. Sometimes we'll feed him beside the crate....

:)

Before our screened porch was rehabbed, we fed out there. Now we feed in the kitchen, mainly because Homer's eating raw, and it's easier to work right out of the fridge!

Both of mine are crate diners. Unless they get into the office and eat all of Mopar's food

Outside in the backyard with me there to supervise. We've had food aggression issues in the past.

Um, mine eats in the bathroom. although my house is set up weird. You walk in, the dining room. Straight back there is the bathroom. Back in the dining room turn right and there is the living room. Back from the living room, there is the laundry hallway and bedroom off on the right, you walk out the laundry hallway and into the kitchen. Walk back somemore and you walk into my HUGE bedroom with my HUGE closet! I have a calf. king size water bed in there and it doesn't even make the room look small!!!!

Plus, Rocky drools. Badly. and the dining room and bathroom are the only places that don't have carpet Much to my dislike....

I am sure dogs don’t find the places strange no matter where they are feed.

My pups are ALWAYS feed outside, first in the outside kennel (as accustom to the kennel) and later they have to “work” for the food and have to search for it in the backyard, no matter if it cold, raining or snowing for several reasons: Less to clean up inside ;) but last but not LEAST… from puppy hood I want to accustom the pup, that no matter how awful the weather is, there is always something “good” outside. (Living close to the arctic circle ;) way to often I have seen how pitiful dogs act to the weather... the ground is to wet for sit and down )

When they are adult, my own ease sometimes takes over :o and I feed them in the utility room.

I don't make a big fuss out of feeding a healthy... if my dog is hungry enough he will eat no matter if it is cold and if he is to lasy to work for his meals it's only his problem... ( he is not undernourished lol)

Birdie's bowls are in the kitchen and usually she eats there because that's where her food is placed. However, she does sometimes like to take mouthfuls of food and carry it into the family room and drop in on the carpet and eat once piece at a time! Drives me nuts!!!
