Anybody saw that picture

Did anyone see the picture in Rottweillers Volume 2 All about america`s favorite dog from the editors of dog fancy magazine? On page 46 there is a pic. on the bottom of the page of a dog carting a heavy load he looks really heavy to me but it does not say anything about the weight of the dog. It only talks about carting I think he is pulling bags of sand. I wonder how heavy that dog is. I guess if you do carting with your dog it they will aquire more muscle therefore be heavier? ( Please correct me if I`m wrong:D )
And when do you actually start carting and where do you get the halter and the wagon?

Haven't seen the picture, but one of my last Rottweilers used to pull the neighborhood kids on a sled or wagon! I just bought a cheap harness from Petsmart, but he wasn't pulling that much weight.
If you go to the "working" forum and do a search on carting, there's some good discussions.

Yes I have seen that pic, he looks like a Grizzly Bear. Any time I grab that magazine I flip to that page to take another look. Not only is the dog thick, but his bone structure is huge.

i'm looking at the picture right now...he sure does look huge!!! i've actually thought of getting a cart for maverick and i've joked with my son and his friends i'm gonna get something so maverick can pull them around on their sleds in wintertime. sure would be nice to have the cart when we go camping to bring back firewood and the usual 5 - 8 bags of ice we get on "ice runs.":D
