| normal size for a puppy IM just curious to know if my puppy is growing at a normal rate. She is now 15 weeks and weights 25 lbs, Also how can you tell if she's going to be a big dog? Her dad is one big rott about 130 lbs and the mother about 100 lbs. I started feeding her canidae in hope it will stop the lose stool. |

| Average growth is 10lbs per month of age, +/- 10% Dogs grow differently based on feeding patterns, bloodlines, etc. You want to keep the puppy light, to thepoint where most pet people will probably tell you the dog is too thin. You should be able to put your hands on the fur and feel the ribs and hip points. If youhave to press in to feel them, the pup is heavy. Light puppies = healthy joints in the long term. Your other concern should be rapid growth. Too much too soon leads to Pano and growth disorders. You can find a lot of info about pano on these forums by doing a search. Good luck!

| With parents that size, you would expect a female pup to eventually get to be around 100 pounds. Don't worry about your girls weight, she'll be fine. You've got her on a good food and she should be fine. |
