Haha! That's just like Ilsa. When we have a guest, she'll drop some drool sodden stuffed toy into their lap, and then take a step or two back and stare with an expression of rapt expectation, nub wiggling. Every fibre of her body seems to say, "Throw it!! Throoow it!!!!"
Some friends like it, others are uncomfortable. I try to read my guests so that they never have to be in the position where they feel they have to ask for the dogs to be put away. My dogs are pretty polite, but they do want to be patted and meet-and-greet. If a guest looks uncomfortable, dogs go their room upstairs with a chew toy.
