health certifications on akc pedigree?

i have sent countless emails to the akc that have gone unanswered, UGH!! would someone here be kind enough to tell me what health certifications are listed on an official pedigree.

i know CERF is listed with the age the dog is evaluated.

what else is listed and how?

thank you :)

Hips, elbows, heart and CERF are the items selected by the ARC to be recorded by CHF and the AKC. They are only recorded if the dog has permanent identification (tatoo or chip).

OFAs are listed as OFA and the letter for the rating (G good), a few others show up as well as long as they are through OFA

HOWEVER the health certs willONLY show up on AKC papers IF the dog had a permanant ID (tattoo or chip) when the certificate was issued

Now that owners have a choice if the non passing is made public or not, would the "failures" also be put on the pedigree?

No they are not, but there is nothing to stop a person from going to the certifying database and looking to see those that are in the "open" database. That choice (open or closed) has not been available for very long so someone should not expect to find open records going back very far at all.

The parent club specifies what they feel are important in their breed so it will vary from breed to breed. I listed cardiac and that certification is done by OFA
