| Morning workout Mia and I(Mia is an 8 month old female rott.) have been going jogging early in the morning for the past 3 days. The first morning she was like "What's going on, why are we up so early" and had a confused look on her face, but once she saw her leash she was all focused on jogging haha. The next morning she knew what we were gonna do, she was really excited. This morning was the same case, she was really excited, but when we got to the corner we saw three loose dogs from a neighbors yard, Mia and the dogs barked at each other, well Mia and I ignored them as best as we could and went along our way. On the way back however, only one of the dogs(pretty small dog, had a fluffy coat) saw Mia, and ran behind the house, then couple seconds later all three came out and one of the dogs about the size of Mia ran towards us, I shooed them away and they went back to their yard. That was a close call, the neighbors never leave their gate open, someone must have opened it, or forgot to close it. Anyways, thats my mornings adventure :p Anyone else exercise with their pets or anything? btw, I plan on taking Mia 6 days out of the week, unless she looks like she has had enough of it hehe... She is a really active dog though, she loves it out there, especially with the morning breeze, its cute watching her little nub wag really fast lol |

| She is a bit young to be jogging. What surface is she on. It would be very bad to be running her on concrete or asphalt. |

| Bella and I get up at 5:30 every morning and go for a brisk walk--about 1 to 1.5 miles. Then it's back home for breakfast (hers) and a shower (mine). Once we get to work we play with a toy in the warehouse for a while--she loves running around playing hide and seek around the stock shelves. During work she has to be leashed at my desk right now---she used to have full run of the place, but had decided it was cool to poop inside. She seems perfectly happy sleeping under my desk until our lunch hour at the park |

| Sable and I walk a minimum of 2 miles a day, sometimes more. Then my daughter takes her jogging 3-5 times a week, for about 15-20 minutes. She also has "play dates" with other Rottie friends and one Am Bulldog friend at least weekly. (I'm looking for somewhere for her to get some swimming in.) Digbee (cocker) walks maybe 1 mile a day...he's 9 (very healthy) so we go a lot by how enthusiastic he is about it.

I need to find the distance that Mia and I go in the mornings.... It has been great so far! Every Saturday Mia's sister Lenex comes over and they play all day, sometimes during the week Mia goes over to my brothers house(Lenex's dad) and they go swimming in his pool.... |
