| Kennel Name Wasn't quite sure where to post this, so if this is wrong, apologies to the list admins.... I know this is not earthshattering info, but I am so thrilled to announce that after toying for months with various names, that we finally decided on one and we received our kennel registration papers from USRC today. We are now officially registered as Vom Lowenherzig Rottweilers. (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) As some of you know our first choice (Vom Praetorhaus) was shot down because someone was already using it :(. So when we set out to choose another name we wanted something than described the attributes of a Rottweiler. Lowenherzig (pronounced low-ven-hairt-zig) means lion-hearted. I believe that like lions, Rottweilers possess a very noble and courageous character. (Thanks Donna & Joe for helping with the pronunications and helping us narrow it down). I can't do anything about registering it with AKC as we are way too young a 'kennel' to meet the requirements. I was also hoping to register it with ARV, but I can't seem to get anyone to respond to my e-mails or phone calls...ah well, with the nice weather everyone must be off showing. :) At any rate, I have been doing the "Happy Spinning Rottweiler Dance" with the kids for about 20 minutes now. You should see how well I do the wigglebutt...:D ;)! Now to put together a logo and a website so you all can see Disel...who looks just like his daddy Axel (Can.
