From ADRK ...TO... CKC ...TO... AKC?

The breeder of Royal has been having problems with registering the litter.
She believes that the problem is solved, and is the result of a Canadian bitch, bred in the States with semen from Brazil.
When I get my C K C papers, is it too late to register with the A K C ?
He is 7 months now , and was born in Oct( don't know if this is valid)
I have his contract papers, and receit varify that this puppy is from this select male, was there something that I missed? She said she would fill out the C K C because she hasn't decided on the registered name. Is there a time limit?
Any help would be much appreciated.

Was the dam of the litter AKC registered? I'm not sure, but I don't think you would be able to register him with AKC if the dam was not already registered here.

Also, with a frozen semen breeding, AKC requires DNA testing on the sire if he was collected after a certain date.

I would go to www.akc.org and do the research on the registration process yourself. You will learn a lot and if you need confirmation with any of the items, you can email akc directly.
