Question about a rott/mix puppy...

Hello all,

I adopted a rottweiler mix on may 15, and I was hoping to get your ideas/opinions on her approximate size when full grown.

This will be hard to do seeing that we have no idea what she is mixed with.

She is almost 3 months old, weights 20 lbs, but stands almost 17 inches from the floor to shoulder. Yes - she is a very lanky puppy who is all legs...

Any ideas?

P.s.

Here is her weight growth so far...
(all ages are approximate)

9 weeks - 8.8 lbs
10 weeks - 11 lbs
11 weeks - 16 lbs
3 months - 20 lbs

Ah yes, the pictures..,

Under chit-chat corner my post is called "odin, delila, baby laika pictures" you may have to look for it - but it's in there!

The first two pictures are of the puppy in question. Those pictures were from the day I brought her home (about 8 or 9 wks old).

Yeah, we think she may have some lab, shepard, husky, a little bit of everything...

Just wanted your thoughts :)

I am sure we will al still be around - and we can watch her grow. I think I even know a good amount about everyone's dogs here - we all become family after a while :)

The reason I brought this up was because when my other female was her age she weighed about 30 lbs and she was a teeny-weeny (all legs too) and I grossly underestimated her grown weight. I thought she would only be about 50-70 lbs in the end, but now at almost 9 months she is 90 lbs.

I guess time will tell....
:) :) :) :) :)

This is an old method-at 4 months double the weight, that's all,it may not be accurate, but it gives a basic idea........at 4 months Selket was 48.2 lbs,20 inches at the soulder. At 15 months 96.4 lbs,25 1/2'.She has dropped a couple(Winter fat),now 18 months 92.2 lbs,but grew to 26 1/2',weird!She may have one more spurt before she is done, her breast bone is sticking out again.OH NOOOOO!!!!!

Pretty good guess. But, you really have NO idea, because she is a mixed breed, and because you haven't seen the parents.
