| Just to say anyway just a little about why I am here, My first Rottie came to live with me at 9weeks of age a bitch named Tara, she was a fantastic dog we were together for seven years but sadly she died 3 weeks ago she had bone cancer in her hind leg. I thought to my self I dont want to go through with it again I dont want another dog, this lasted for a couple of weeks until I saw a new puppy for sale It was love at first sight and I wanted to take him home. So I have a new Rottie he will not replace Tara but I will love him just as much Only problem is I can not think of a name for him as yet any suggestions? |

| Congratulations on your new baby and my deepest sympathy on Tara's loss. I just lost one of my girls, Kim, to cancer yesterday. No dog will ever replace those we've lost, but will make their own special place in our heart. As for names, is there any specific category you're partial to? I have a list of names I like somewhere, I just don't know where. After yesterday, my mind isn't what it should be, but some of the names I've always liked are Kane, Highlander, Taz, Rueben, India, Gunther, Ryker, Moonraker, Renegade & Rebel (horses we used to have), Tacoma, Dakota, Shaman and there are others - I just can't think of them right now. Of course, they say it's best to have a two syllable name which ends in a vowel sound and you don't want a name which sounds like any command you'll use for your dog.
