Heros!

The rescue group I volunteer with, Adopt-A-Rott, has a wonderful success story! :D AdoptARott has recently joined forces with the Caledon Rottweiler Rescue group to make a great, dedicated team.

One of our dogs is soon to be recognized as a hero! :D

Ramses was on a walk with his owner, his buddy (a Great Dane) and his 4 year old boy. The little boy got too close to the edge of the swollen waterways of the park and fell in. Before his Mother even had a chance to react, Ramses jumped in!! He went straight for the boy and pushed him up the banks to his Mother's waiting arms. He waited in the fridged waters until the boy was lifted completely to safety. :D

We had another rescue girl that woke her entire family from their slumber one evening. They woke to find that their neighbours home was on fire. They were able to wake their neighbours and get everyone to safety. She saved her neighbours!! :D

Two Hero stories from previously discarded and forgotten dogs. They've been given a second chance, now they've provided the same in return!

Please post your dogs stories of heroics. We need to share our successes! :D
