Hey AZ dweller, Kala, I have some friends that live near Scottsdale and thier dogs have both been ill with something called "Valley Fever". Have you had any problems with it? Just curious from a neighboring state.. :)

Any Rott owners in AZ????

I'm thinking about a job change that would take me to Arizona. I would be moving from Chicago and was wondering if there are any rottie owners out in AZ that couls let me know how your dogs do with the heat. Any input/advise is welcome.

HI, I live in Phoenix and have two Rotts living here now. The dogs do ok with the heat as long as they are inside during the hottest part of the day. Your dogs will have an adjustment to the climate but it can be done. It is a pretty dog friendly city as far as I have found.
Where in Arizona will you be moving to?
If you want to take this off the board email me private and we can chat about the area.

Thanks to everyone for their input. We are thinking of moving to Tucson for a new job. Right now 'm about 90% sure that I'll get the job and accept it. Si I could be a neighbor pretty soon.
