| Bringing new pup home Place her in a puppy crate. That is the safest and least messy way to travel. |

| Congradulations o the new baby. You should bring her/him home in a travel carrier. It is the safest way. Depending on the size of the pup even a cat carrier will do. Run the seatbelt through the handle and snap in place. In the event of a sudden stop, she could be tossed about and get hurt..Seat belts are for everyone. I brought my pup home three weeks ago and introduced her to my five yr old in the kitchen. I made sure to have lots of COOKIES for the new pup to bring her. They did fine. Just watch them all the time the are together. Pups can be VERY annoying to an older dog. With the biting and jumping and just playing around. Just stay alert for any signs of unhappiness of the older dog. Good luck....Myia

| I agree a Pet Carrier would be safest. When I got my Rotti it was only a 1/2 an hour journey and he sat on a mat on the floor of my car with my boyfriend and my little Rotti pooped all over the mat, thank goodness we could put down the windows and were soon home. The smell was awful. |
