Allerpet D

Well it has been five days since I did the Allerpet D thing. I have had only a few hives (barely noticeable really) since last Wednesday when I started--(hives the day I rubbed it on him--makes sense--and last night just a few that I wouldn't have even known I had if I hadn't had the worst case of insomnia and been up at 2:30 am watching Meet the Press that I tivo-ed--but I digress). I'm not sure if the allerpet is the panacea--truth be told, I touch poor Toby less than I did before, when I do touch him, I scrub my hands like they do on ER and I vacuum twice a week with my new HEPA filter vacuum, concentrating on the area where he likes to lay the most whereas before I realized I was allergic I vacuumed not twice a week ;) . It's a lot of work, but my house looks great:D . Toby is really worth it--he cracks me and my husband up and Daisy really enjoys him. Thanks to TrishB for the recommendation and I will keep up the hard work. If there are any changes for the better or worse, I'll post again.

How often are you bathing Toby? We haven't tried the AllerpetD. We have been bathing Aiden once a week. It is making a huge difference. At about the 7th day after a bath he starts making us itch again.

I've had him going on two months and he has had three baths total. The baths weren't an attempt to control allergies though.
