UGH! I would expect this from anyone else but...

My regular vet was away for awhile. So I had to take Nik and Bear in for annual shots and visit with her "replacement". WHAT a MISTAKE!

He actually made a comment as to rottweilers being BRED FOR AGRESSION and as "attack dogs"! He then asked me if I would need a muzzle, and if my male - Bear- was going to bite him. http://www.rottweiler.net/rottie/mad.gif http://www.rottweiler.net/rottie/confused.gif

And my Nikki, such a sweet girl. All the vet techs there know her very well and LOVE her. This "vet" on the other hand, was a complete jerk to my dogs, just gave them the shots and left. Usually my dogs are HAPPY to go to the vet. This time, they walked out of there hanging their heads, no licking, begging to stay there, no wagging tails. The vet did no checkup, no treats, no talking to us about their health, etc.. nothing. I could tell that the techs were EMBARASSED to be working with this guy. We are usually at the vet for an HOUR with one dog. This took a little over five minutes for two.

I will inform my regular vet that she was working with a complete MORON! And also that I would not be visiting her office if that man was on filling in. He just insulted me soo much I couldn't stand it. I told all my friends with large breeds NOT to go to this guy...he is pretty popular here too.. http://www.rottweiler.net/rottie/smile.gif

You'd think a vet would know better, through experience at least!
