I will be going away for about 10 days and I need to find a
reputable kennel can anyone recomend one? I live in Little Neck, NY (Queens).


I would appreciate any info.

A great resource for this sort of information is your Vet! :D Some vets board, some don't. But ALL will be very aware of what services are offered in your area and which they'd recommend (and wouldn't). ;)

Also go to your local pet stores. They too will have a wealth of knowledge.

Lastly, be sure to talk to other dog owners in your area - people LOVE to chat about their pets and are only too happy to share good references. :D

Also make sure when you do find that kennel that you tour it making sure the facility is clean, the water buckets are full, bowls are washed and the dogs have a soft place to lay.

Go to the american boarding kennels site www.abka.com to find what to look for in a kennel. There should also be a locator line where you can type in the zip and a nearby member kennel will be listed :) Good luck!
