The best I could do....

The best I could do without knowing how to post the pictures here was to post them at Webshots!

Go here: http://community.webshots.com/album/50825937ToAhjk

I'll post more as I get them developed. I'm so proud of him!! Please keep in mind that these pictures were taken by the breeder of him at 8 weeks. He's 12 weeks now - so he's changed quite a bit. But it'll give you the idea. ;)

The adult is his father, Brock! :D

I hope you like them both! :)

My dream puppy

Of course, I'm biased - but he really is PERFECT!! LOL! ;) :D

He walks into his crate when I say 'Kennel' and doesn't put up a fuss. He's already walking on the leash very well. He comes when he's called. He's working beautifully for his favourite treats: Cheerios (multigrain).

I'm socializing him like crazy and have strangers we meet on the street give him treats. I want him to know that people are a good thing! ;) Of course, we meet first, then him, so he knows it's okay. ;)

I was ready for barking and wailing in the crate, messing in the house, puppy bites - and I haven't had to deal with any of it! :D :)

I could say it's due to my wonderful training techniques... ;)...but really, I think it's because of two main things:

1) He's 12 weeks old and that makes a HUGE difference. If everyone could wait to pick up their pups until 12 weeks (and if breeders would wait too ;)), it really has made a wonderful difference and has a HUGE impact.

2) The breeder had socialized him carefully.

It's made a world of difference!! :D I love my little guy - he's the new light in my life. I couldn't be more happy, thrilled and proud! :D

(I think I've gone over my smiley-limit, but I can't help it! ;))

Your pup sounds so perfect! :D

I think you're right about bringing the pup home at 12 weeks. As long as the breeder is doing an excellent job like yours has, then it's a positive thing. :)

I wouldn't mind seeing more pics of him! he's a doll.

I got Daisy at 12 weeks and I didn't have any problems either. I never had to get up in the middle of the night, no messes, no crying. It was amazing! Silly me, it was my first puppy so I just thought it was the norm til I started reading here.

Trish - What a handsome boy! You got him from Hemlock Rottweilers? I had pics of the entire litter that Donna emailed me! Now how small is the world? Congrats and best wishes to you. You've got a great dog there from a great line.
