| Best Rottie accessory All large breed dog owners know that they eat alot of food. We also know that what goes in usually comes out, hopefully outside. A freind showed me this new gizmo he got last weekend. It's a pooper scooper that uses a standard plastic grocery bag as a recepticle. I've seen some of these on the market but not like this one, it doesn't have any moving parts. It consists of a 4" round tube with fingers on the bottom that you wrap the bag around and hook on, and a telescoping handle. I got one at Petsmart for about $20.00 and it works great:D I don't know if they are available nationally as they are manufactired here locally but as I said I got mine at Petsmart. They make poop patrol so easy and alot less distasteful. You just line up, scoop and tilt, and the poop is in the bag. When you're finished, unhook the bag and drop it in the trash. No muss no fuss and clean.

| I got one of those when I first bought Rajah and we didn't like it. Now we just use a hand-held shovel.

| I'm not sure if I have the exact same thing as you just mentioned but it is very similar.... what a lifesaver on walks... it has the roll of little bags inside and when its time, you pop one out rap it around the "jaws" and scoop and carry on, without keeling over while carrying it... then drop it in your trash when your'e done walking. It was 12.99 and the bags were extra, but well worth it... :)

| i use one of those scoopers with 3 foot handles for the backyard. i just pick it up and dump on the other side of the fence in one spot. after the whole yard is picked up i just go over and pick it all up and throw it all away in one bag. on walks i just carry a bag and pick it up inside out and then tie it and throw it away when i get home. i bought 3 rolls of the bags, 36 bags total, at a dog show for $5. now i wish i had bought 10 of them. at the store here that same thing is $10.99!

| We use a combination of a snowshovel and rake to clean up the yard. LOL! Seriously, though, we do have a "Doggie Dooley" recepticle that does work nicely to take care of the waste. Also, I found some bags at Petsmart that have a cardboard "scoop" attached and close up after the scooping is done. I haven't had to use one yet, but a friend of ours who has a dog almost as big as Knuckles says they are great. It does fit in your pocket.
