| Bald spots? Does anybody know why dogs get Bald spots? My dog "Pepper" has two bald spots, one in the center of her two eyes and the other one is on top of her left eye. Is there something I can use to correct that? |

| It could be from him rubbing his eyes due to infection or allergies, it could also be something like mange, it could also be genetics. ;) The best bet is to get it checked by your vet. It's always best to find out the cause of the symptoms rather than to only treat the symptoms and not correct the cause. Let us know what they say! :)

| Also, if it is a very small bald spot she may have bumped her head. When we first got our dog she whacked her head on a glass table and had a very clean looking (meaning no redness or dry skin) hairless spot about the size of a tic-tac over her eye for at least a month. The hair eventually grew back and she figured out that she needed to avoid that shiny thing in the middle of the room. |

| The location indicates mange. (demodectic). See a vet for diagnosis and treatement if applicable. |
