My dog is so kind and gentle

I know you can probably beat this, but I want to see you try.....

My rott is so kind and gentle. Recently our vet was trampled by livestock, cannot walk, and is temporarily, I hope, in a wheelchair. She is working part time and is so upset by humans that she only sees the pets, not the owners. And she's not even seeing all of the pets just the ones she's comfortable with.
without knowing any of this I made an appointment to get my 100 lb girl annual shots.

They called back and gave me an appointment without delay or explanation. When I got there, the staff explained that I wouldn't meet the vet, just my doggies would.

I could hear her talking to Muttley through the walk, telling her to sit, stand, etc., to be examined. By some odd chance, I never taught my girl to shake hands. when I say shake, I mean shake off the shower water so you can get out of the tub, which caused some confusion about blood work. Eventually, the vet convinced her to offer up a paw and give blood. IN A WHEELCHAIR, JUST OUT OF SURGERY.

My other dog is a jack russell terrier, which some firends of mine kidnapped because he was being abused so badly. they confronted this man and somehow compelled him to give them this registered dog which cost him $500.

He was so afraid of people, he wouldn't go to anyone but Muttley for several days. she convincec him we are nice and now he sleeps on my pillow. she lets him eat her food, 'dry nurse', chew on her and do just about anything he wants to her except attempt sex. And the little rat has tried.

so a vet in a wheelchair selected her to be a member of an exclusive few she will see, and she's raising and curing an extremely abused pup and convincing him not to be afraid of people anymore.

And that's my 100lb. monster that no one can trust.

It sounds to me as though quite a few trust her and with reason. Why would you say "no one can trust"???? Obviously those who speak "dog" - the Jack and the vet, trust her completely as does the vet staff.

I'm frustrated because of the things people say when I take her in public. We have a flea market here that people take dogs to because its just a field. i got my rott a backpack and make her carry my things. Some goon just freaked out because she was watching his kids play ball. she wanted to play, too. he told me I shouldn't be allowed to take her around kids. I told him I had bags for poop which is more than some out there can say. he ranted some more so I told him I'm handicapped and she is my service dog. She looks weird enough in a backpack that its believable. I'm not handicapped, he is.

Those things happen very seldom with well-behaved dogs. I'm sure you had many more people admiring her. Remember, don't be a fear-biting handler :D Balance in all things.
