marrow bones

i just wanted to know how often do you give your dogs a new marrow bone?

Ditto - whenever I go in the freezer and see I have them. My babies just love them.

is a soup bone the same thing as a marrow bone? if so do i take right out of the package and give it to him or do i have to boil the bone first?

No, you *never* cook bones because doing so causes them to splinter. All bones are given raw.

You can get beef marrow bones from the meat section of any grocery store--they usually next to suet & organ meat. If you don't see the, ask.

My dogs get frozen raw beef marrow bones 1-2 x/week.

Your choice: You can give them to your dog directly from the package or you can freeeze them. I freeze them because I buy several packages at a time & they'll keep frozen.

well i definetly won't cook them!{thanks for the info} but i take it ,that soup bones are different then marrow bones? can i give soup bones?

Soup bones and marrow bones are the same thing. Just all depends on what your butcher, supermarket calls them.
