eating grass

when I came home today(4:30pm) and let Roxy(5 mt old 52 lbs) out ,I noticed she is eating grass, I think that dogs do this when they have an upset stomach??Is there anything else I should do?I figure she will puke the grass back up later so I left her food with her outside and will check the yard for puke later this evening,,besides that she is alert and acting fine......Thanks

All the dogs I've ever had have been grazers. They'll eat grass, pick fruit from bushes & trees, eat dirt from around the compost pile, eat horse manure, deer droppings--the list goes on & on. Since we don't spay anything nor put down any fertilizer, I never stop them from grazing.

My Rotts are grazers too. They don't throw up from it. I was surprised too because the poodle I had as a kid would only eat grass when he was sick. Then he would throw up.

We have to watch my 1 because he likes to pull it up from the roots. With 4, we have enough trouble keeping grass from the high traffic.
