Nothing is impossible...back in February Lord vom Bickemsheim (who happens to have a tail) took a 4 point major at the Southwestern Rottweiler Club of San Diego...the Judge was from Canada...go figure :-)

I assume I will see you ring side. My girl is docked, but promise we will not snub you, though, I admit, I prefer the docked version to the tailed. While at the same time, I have never experienced the tailed. Best of luck to you and your girl.

There is no standard for the tail other than "tail docked closed to body 1 to 2 vertebrae". How do you expect to overcome that description.

A judge can not imagine what a proper tail would look like when there is a clear description already given, so you cannot just remove the tail from the picture. It is either correct or it is not. If it hangs or curls back over the back or stands out straight, is thick or thin, is feathered or tightly coated, how would the judge know based on the standard in front of him?

He may want to copy a page from other club standards, but that wouldn't be correct - UKC, USRC, ARV, AIRC don't use our standard either.

What should he do when presented with something that does not exist in the standard - for instance a cropped rottweiler or a tailed one. The opposite of what the standard states?

Hopefully you have a superior dog in every other way.

Good luck Buck County shows are big shows like Gretchen stated let whatever is said or happen roll off and move on. Smile and walk away.
This is usually a very larger show in all aspects.
