| multi-v question Hello, We are planning to add a puppy to our family and are researching breeders for the right one for us. Several time we have seen a prospective bitch/sire described as "multi-V rated" or "V-1 rated". Although I've googled and read several lists of showtitles and etc, I can't seem to figure out exactly what this means. I do see that "v" means excellent (? I think?) but , "excellent at what ??" Thanks for your help !!  |

| Re: multi-v question The "V" rating is referring to a rating of Excellent in a German/European style conformation show, generally a USRC, ARV, independent, ADRK, or other rottweiler organization. The V is an abbreviation of the German word for Excellent. V-1 is referring to having both an excellent rating and also coming in first place in the same class.
