Permanent press cycle in the dryer for 30 minutes at low heat. But seriously folks....how old is the dog in question?...sometimes they grow a little into their skin. Exercise will also firm the skin up a little.

Thanks...where did you see my boy? Here I go..(people hear this from me a lot)..but now that your dog is 2, I would get OFA done on hips and elbows before doing a lot of strenuous activity. It really helps to know what's in there (especially if you want some working titles ). I do a lot with Shane...somedays we'll run a couple miles...somedays a lot of 100 yard sprints...somedays some fast-paced hiking trails with a lot of hill climbing. I don't like tradmills for myself or my dog. I think treadmills mess up (shorten) their stride for German Sieger style shows.

Re: show words

Whether a dog is wet or dry is almost entirely genetic, you can't make one into the other without plastic surgery (which is illegal in terms of showing).

Re: show words

If your dog is two, he is what he will be. You cannot "dry" up a mature dog. While exercise will tone him up, the "wet" area around his throat and neck will more than likely stay like it is at this point.
