There is shade along the sides of the 'show grounds' - just not ring side for you. I have an x-pen that I use for Parker with a tarp that I put across the top. He gets to lay on the cool grass and enjoy being outside in his own little shaded area. I learned that x-pens can be worth their weight in gold on a hot day at an outside event.

I have a tarp that's larger than the pen itself so that I can adjust the tarp to block the sun from the sides as well.

Bring a hat / sun block, etc. for yourself if the weather forcast is for sunny weather. It's easy to be side tracked watching the show and not notice that you're getting burned.

I just found out that I will be meeting Harley's father and owner, I am so excited. Figuring Harley looks identical to him in pics, will be nice to see approx what he could grow up to look like :)
