IABCA/Day of show entries

Hi All,

There is an IABCA show in my area this weekend that I did not pre enter and I was wondering if anyone can tell me about the limited day of show entries?

It is two shows per day (I only want to enter one show, one day) and I need to know if you must be there to enter before any of the days showing begins, or do you enter before each show starts that day.

If I have to be there at 8:00am to enter regardless, then I will enter the morning show. I'm not going to make my puppy sit there for five hours waiting for show #2 to start.

Will they accept cash if I'm entering the same day or will I need my checkbook? Any ideas on how many limited entries are usually available? The first class of the day starts at 8:55am, so I want to make sure I get there early enough to get one if there are only a few entries to be had.

According to the web premium list, there are no day of show entries, entries closed Feb. 16.

Thanks for responding so quick. The premium does say they have limited entries. I just clicked on your link and copied this,

Weird! Then what the heck does this mean?: "ENTRIES MUST BE RECEIVED-by Wednesday February 16 , 2005 at 6:00pm pacific time
AFTER THE ABOVE CLOSING TIME NO ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED. NO ENTRY WILL BE ACCEPTED WITHOUT THE AGREEMENT ON THE BACK. ALL CHANGES, COMPLETIONS, CANCELLATIONS MUST BE RECEIVED IN WRITING BEFORE CLOSING."

I would get there first thing in the morning, as the day of show entries seem to fill fast, just depending on how many dogs they already have entered.

Hi Karyn,

Thanks for the info. I actually went the day before to watch and they let me enter for the next days show. The next day when I went to the table to get my armband they didn't have me in the computer. There was a bit of confusion but it all worked out ok in the end. We got an SG1 rating and had a lot of fun!
