anyone know of this stud dog "Lord von Bickesheim II" and can tell me what they like or dislike about him. This forum has helped me alot and I`m sure someone has seen him or met him at shows etc... or have had a puppy from his linage. thanks again

Sorry don't know anything about him. I went to the OFA website and see that though he is almost 7 years of age...and has sired many puppies...he was just tested this January and February for elbows, eyes and heart. I also see that he has some offspring with hip dysplasia....those are only the ones that were tested. Looks like he must have sired many puppies. What titles does he have?

What is the bitches name? She's just as important, if not more so then the sire.

He's an Import for one

I have heard from someone who met him that he's a very pleasant and fun dog as well as being good looking.

He's a Multi V rated, CAN CH, a working therapy dog, SCH 3, AD, BH, Ztp, HD-, ED-, OFA cardiologist cardiac, CERF (Passed CERF and cardiac at 6 1/2 years old), OFA good hips, OFA elbows normal/clear (hips and elbows also done at 6 1/2 years old)
He took winners dog at a specialty recently can't recall which and I believe he just finished his Rally Novice title if not I know he has two legs of it.

He has 11 offspring listed in OFA 3 have had cardiacs done and passed, 7 have clear elbows, 1 has DJD 1, 2 have CERF numbers listed, 1 has a thyroid number, 5 are OFA good, 1 excellent, 2 fair, 2 moderate HD.

The dog you are looking for is not the one that is on the OFA site. If you look on Pawvillage you will see him who is Lord Von Bickesheim II not Lord von bickesheimii just to clear things up. He is a tailed dog these two dogs are around the same age but spelling of name just a little different.

I have a Lord grand-daughter and know another Lord son. He seems to produce nice stable dogs that can work!

Von Bickesheim is an old German breeder known for stable and well balanced dogs. Since a year or two taken over by his son in law who seems to keep the old tradition alive.
