small health cert and check brag

We took Annie (2 1/2), the pups (all 7 of them 10 weeks old) and met Annie's sister, Emma at a health clinic in Vt

Annie had her eyes re-CERF'd for the third time and passed no problem

Emma had her heart ECHO'd and passed the exam handily (velocity 1.58 m/s)

and ALL 7 pups passed their cardiologist auscultation exam

YEAH!

Annie and Emma are K litter girls. Out of 4 pups in the litter, now two have been cardiac checked and both passed an ECHO EASILY. (Annie's velocity was 1.38 m/s)

The K litter are full siblings to the pups we took as well, the L kids
A special Thank you to AngelBunny for coming along and helping!!

I'm sure it was hard for her...playing with all those 10 week old rottie pups. The hardest part was not sneaking one home !!

You can say that again!

I've seen the puppies a couple of times over the last several weeks and been captivated by one of the bitches. That girl would have a home if we had one less dog.

Hooray for puppies with healthy tickers and adults with health certifications!

Great news, and most certainly brag-worthy. :)

Re: small health cert and check brag

I asked AngelBunny along in part becuase I needed help and secondly because I think everyone in the breed needs to attend a health certification done by good Drs to know what they do and why.

I PREFER to attend clinics with these vets (the optho vet and the cardio vet) because they know what they are doing, have pleasant "bedside manner" and are calm and confident around Rottweilers. They have not dissapointed me ever.

I sincerely hope AB found it interesting. The cardiac check is especially neat because of the ECHO equipment

Congratulations Diane on the wonderful clinic! I am glad to see that I'm not the only one who has puppies/litters done. <wink>
