LEWIS vom KUMMELSEE

Hello All,

Just wanted to get some thoughts on LEWIS vom KUMMELSEE as a stud.
Good producer, yes or no?

Thanks

To early to tell here in the US, but some imported children of his have done well so far in the younger classes. He has some nice offspring in other countries. We have a litter due from him next week so i will no more in a month or 2

Re: LEWIS vom KUMMELSEE

Depends what you are looking for and how well he matches up with your bitch.
He may have been good match with some bitches and not others---you have to look at strength and weaknesses of the PAIR together before deciding what stud to use --- look at what you want in the litter/puppies---not just the fact that you want puppies.
Breed to better the breed.

Rich

Re: LEWIS vom KUMMELSEE

Have put this breding on my ADRK dogbase & looks pretty good!
Was just looking to see what some others opinions of him were.
I am not just breeding to breed either.
Have been researching many different dogs that I think will work with my bitch.
Thanks for the info though

I'm not familiar with Lewis. Dipper's advice is very solid. You need to pick your girl apart and see what she needs, then look at the male in question, and bet on whether he can give it to her, and visa versa. Dogbase is a pretty good start. Has he been bred to similar bitches? Is he a strong producer of his own characteristics? etc...

You're not that far from Tallahassee. You ought to come train with us some Saturday! We have a clubmember that drives from Santa Rosa Beach 2-4 x a month to play.

It is software that you can purchase from the ADRK. it is updated every quarter or once a year depending on how you want to get it. You have to be a member of the ADRK also.
that's how I got it!!!!

Yes, I know Chris well. Wouldn't it be a good idea to get Lucinda's BH and BST/ZtP before breeding? She's still pretty young, right? Any dog can be in training for them.

I'm not looking to breed her tomorrow. and yes any dog can be in training for them as she should be titled before she is 2 yrs. before she is bred.

Good to hear that you are going to have her BH and Ztp/BST before considering to breed her. Hopefully all will go well, and she will have some titles on the front end by that time also. Chris said his boy is coming along nicely also.
