adrk elbow breeding standards

What are the german standards as far as elbow grades(+, ++,+++) that are allowed for breeding. I have heard they allow up to ED++. Is this true? I have heard there isn't the same correlation with ED score and clinical symptoms as can be seen with hip score and symptoms. Am I right about that? Thanks

Yes an Elbow rating of ++ is a breedable rating in the ADRK provided the dog meets the other requirements for breeding a breedable hip rating ZTP etc.

I belive they will breed +/- hip rating an if you look at the rating it is comparable to OFA Good - Fair. That is what I have understood. It is only minor changes in hips.

And from what I have read is that there is more of a correlation of symptoms with hips when a dog gets a worse rating than with elbows. Meaning I have read a good portion of dogs with lower rated elbows do not turn up lame, where with hips that is not the case. Has anyone else heard that?
