Re: Bitch in heat & a intact male

Can't wait to share this with the girls at work! This should be a lesson to all who think "they're too small"! Gotta get a glass of wine!

I am really offended by some comments. If this is not good enough to understand I dont know what else to say.
My only suggestion is to seperate the dogs. Sri lanka must sell cages to keep in the house???? Can males be kept outside while female is inside and vice versa????
As a buddhist, from a third world country, I am sorry you are offended.
I kind of understand your questions and replies and hope I can help. I am envisioning the shacks in Thailand in the farm provinces. Not many extra rooms to spare to keep a dog locked in. I totally see the dog food and supplement issue.
I am actually going to commend you here, you are in a 3rd world country where people only make 250 USD. You are trying to make better bred dogs.
Remember pets are viewed muched differently in countries.

As for the neutering is a sin thing.
Buddhist believe that we have no right to change what is. Look at it from a different perspective.
The act of keeping an animal is actually a sin, breeding for money is a sin. Allowing your sins to create puppies is worse because buddhist believe the beginning of life is suffering. If the mother or puppies were to get sick and die you would have sinned. There is absolutely no way to avoid the sin. Consider it Karma to spay/neuter the dog. This way you can keep from committing more sins.
