Sickening just sickening-What newspaper ads from Puppy Mills look like

I went to the website and cannot believe what I saw on there. They speak of a 180 lb dog, (I couldn't imagine one that size)One of the most incredulous things I saw was the way they teach their dogs not to get on furniture which is by using red hot sauce and hot chili pepper! Outrageous! Out of their ignorance, they've put all this info right out there on their website.

Sorry, Shelly, but based on the information I've learned from this site, at best your kennel is a BYB and at worst it's a puppy mill. I went to a site where some of your puppies are for sale. You have puppies ranging in ages from 6 - 8 weeks old.

When it comes to "champion bloodlines" or "champion sired" you or someone from your kennel answered "no." You say the father is ofa (which is a whole other debate), but no mention about the mother.

I'm sorry, but to me you're not even close to being a COE breeder. When I was finally able to locate your website, a sentence on your homepage said it all for me as to what you are - "We have many puppies all the time." So does Kimbertal and they are the one breeder we're allowed to name in our posts on this site.

Sorry, someone with over 50 dogs is a puppy mill (but then, I think the only difference between most BYB's and a puppy mill is volume). These are DOGS, not cattle or sheep! Most of the ethical breeders I know have fewer than 10 dogs (and then not all of breeding age), because that's about as many as you can have if you want to actually, you know, train and show and work and spend time with them...all those things that ethical people choose to do with their dogs.

I have checked out the website and an not altogether happy with it, i certainly would not buy a pup from there.

'She has had many liters in the past few years. Lila put out very adorable BIG puppies. Unfortunitly she can no longer have puppies. We had to retire her and sale her to a good home' You sold your dog because she was no longer profitable? and a bitch should not have had many litters - do you have any idea how harmful overbreeding is to the dog?

'We Have many puppies all the time' How on earth can you possibly give each pup the time and care he deserves?

Yes this is sad! I didn't see the web site BUT I can see RESCUE/DOG SHELTERS in that area when the cute babies start growing up!

I just visited the "breeder's" webpage.

Is it just me, or does their deceased top male look to have entropion? :(
I always thought that was something that shouldn't be perpetuated.

Additionally, I can't say that if I was just perusing Rottweiler breeder webpages that I would be terribly impressed with the bright colors, mis-spelled words, and internet slang.

I've never been around two dogs "tied up", but do you really have to hold the female for 30 minutes so they can mate?!

Do you think our resident puppy miller stopped posting because she realized she "bit off more then she could chew"? Hard to fool people who confuse her with facts.

On a more scary thought, these pups that she is producing in mass quanity can't possibly be properly socialized nor I'm sure bred for good temperament. Do you think the local and state govenments would take a look at these puppy millers and realize that half the bite problems could be solved by putting these types of "businesses" out of business? It's places and people like this that just fuel BSL to the next level.
