Re: Registration papers, health certificates -- what do they look like?

They refer to various titles and certifications. I think there was another thread recently about what all the letters stand for, but I didn't look at it closely.

EDIT: Here, take a look at this one:

Re: Registration papers, health certificates -- what do they look like?

Almost everyone dog on the ancestry pedigree has either CH, A/C CH, INTL CH, BISS SELECT A/C CH. I can assume that the Ch means Champion?

Re: Registration papers, health certificates -- what do they look like?

One of the links in that other thread sorts out the Schutzhund (SCH) titles for you. CH is champion, A/C Ch is American/Canadian Champion, Intl CH I assume is International Champion.

CDX and UD are obedience titles...Companion Dog Excellent and Utility Dog.

Re: Registration papers, health certificates -- what do they look like?

All the "letters" in front of the dog's name refer to conformation titles and the rest of the "alphabet" after the dog's name refers to working titles … and hd/ed status!

1 more question if you would be so kind?

What does silver sire and gold sire mean?

Re: Registration papers, health certificates -- what do they look like?

That I'm not sure about, but I think it refers to an award given to sires whose offspring have been successful in their own right in the show ring.

Re: Registration papers, health certificates -- what do they look like?

The American Rottweiler club (ARC) offers points for titles earned by offspring. In order to be a Bronze, Silver or Gold producer, a dog or bitch must produce a certain number of Champions, and then also attain a certain number of points (based on titles earned by offspring).

I will throw one wrench into Damp's statement above. CT (Champion Tracker), OTCh (Obedience Trial Champion), HC (Herding Champion) and MACH (Master Agility Champion) are all titles that go before the dog's name, but are performance titles, not conformation.
