Breeder ??
Can anyone furnish info on a reputable breeder within the Maryland/Virginia area ? or websites that I can find this info at.. I seem to be running into the same walls!!!!

Breeders are not allowed as discussion on this board.....HOWEVER, you might want to go to www.onofrio.com, click on the SHOW INFORMATION button, then from the pull down menu click on SHOW RESULTS and look at the RESULTS of shows in your area. The people that are doing things with their dogs and proving their stock will be entered in shows. You can get STARTED there.

Just an idea.

We are not permitted to recommend or discuss specific breeders on this site. What kind of research have you done? Have you attended any local shows? You may want to consider attending the Colonial Rott Club specialty in Lancaster, PA running May 2-5. Here's the premium.

By the way, MB-F is the largest show superintendent around here, www.infodog.com.

Also if you read through the forums we have many threads explaining what a reputable breeder is so you will know what questions to ask the breeder and what answers you should be getting.

If you are interested in pet quality only or just a good old house dog, rescue is full of wonderful dogs and yes you can get a purebred Rottweiler and even purebred puppies in rescue.

But you also need to research what is a reputable rescue, which can be done on the forums too....
