Good Working/Show Lines

I am doing some research on breeders that have strong work lines that are show quality also. I am just looking around for a source for my next puppy WHEN the time comes so I'll know who I want to purchase one from.

I am looking at Von Ruelmann and Jeneck's. Any info on either of these breeders and their dogs would be greatly appreciated as well as other good breeders to consider.

Thanks!

PM is the best way to discuss individual breeders. Talk of individual dogs, their lines, and their strengths and weaknesses would be OK.

To enable people to better answer this question it is probably worth going into detail about what show and working quality mean to you. Does the dog just need to be able to do the work or be good at it or excel at it? Does show quality mean the dog is not kicked out of the ring and has no major faults or does it need to v-rate to be considered show quality? And which is more important to you? Would you prefer a great show dog that can do work to a level or a great working dog that is OK in the ring (if you had to choose one over the other)?

More details as to what you are after will help.

Mick.
