| Wwweeeeellllll...since we don't know where you ARE...it's kind of hard to recommend a breeder. Also, what are you looking for in a dog? Pet...show....?? Are there certain qualities you want in a potential canine?? Your best bet - research. Go to shows in your area (whereever that is ;) :D ), talk to people with rotties you like if you see someone walking a dog and you like it. Talk to people at shows, do MORE research. If you're looking for a pet only, check out area rescu groups - many have pups, and if you are willing to wait, fill out the adoption application, go through the process, and wait. Either way, it's a waiting game for a pup unless you get really lucky and happen up on a breeder with pups. Also, what's your work & everyday life schedule like?? A young (less than 5 months) pup needs to be taken out for potty at least every 3-4 hours, and needs vigilant supervision when you are 'just hanging around'. Having a pup under 6 months is like having a child....and you'll have them at that stage, and up until the rebellious 'teenager stage' that will hit at about 18 months to 2 1/2 yrs of age, and beyond that... I don't have the schedule to allow for a pup younger than 8-10 months - and that's pushing it. I'd LOVE to have a youngster....but my life won't allow it. |

| We cannot recommend breeders on these forums, nor can the forums be used to buy or sell dogs...(plus, you don't say where you are!) Follow RottiMom's advice, it's excellent.

| I live in las vegas. I'm trying to find the perfect female. I've spent a feww thousand dollars and had a few heart aches. The last pup I bought was blind and I caught it and the breeder didn't even know it. I got my money back though. Most of them are all scam artist. I want show quality that I might breed. But that is so hard, becuase 2 years from now, chances are it won't be the one. I have fixed dogs that I think would not cut it or would be unethical to breed. I would never think of breeding before OFA, DNA, or eye test. |

| Again, if you do your homework, and really research the folks you call 'scam artists', you should be able to find a breeder you trust. Why not go to shows and keep going until you find a breeder whose dogs you like, research THAT breeder and talk to them about possibly mentoring with them to learn about breeding and what it all takes, as well as learning about their dogs and the lines they come from. Personally, if I was looking for a show quality dog - I know it'd take me at least 2-3 YEARS to figure out exactly what I was looking for, and then I'd STILL be looking. Don't expect perfection to fall into your lap unless you're willing to work and wait for it. I don't think all the COE breeders out there got the perfect dog on their fist attempt - I guarantee there were several very expensive heartbreaking dogs along the way. Breeding, showing or even HAVING a dog as a pet ain't cheap. |

| MmmHmmm. Well, that linked thread says that you already have 2 puppies. Why exactly do you need a 3rd puppy? I would like to see you raise the current puppies to be well-trained, stable adults. Nobody here knows you from Adam, and with all the red flags you are putting out, nobody is going to lay their reputation on the line to refer you to a good breeder. Sorry that's the way it works.
