Markings

My 14 week old has a W above her bowtie. Is this a default?

A W? Is it white, or brown, or black? The AKC says that any markings other than the ones they list (the typical rottie markings) is a fault, but it isn't a disqualification.

It is mahogany. I just had her looked at by the club and they said she was one to hold on to. But no one said anything about the W. I think it is cool because our last name is Walter. But I would like to show her. I have seen V's and white marks but never a W.

Since this isn't strictly a breeding question I am moving the thread to General Info.
