Non Rottweiler Related-PitBull Ban in Denver?

I am trying to help a woman (from an online parenting community) who claims she has to give up her dog when her family moves to Colorado for her husband's new job. She says she can not live in Denver or even the surrounding suburbs because they have the same pitbull ban??

Is there any thing she can do short of rehoming her dog? Can any members who live in Colorado help me with suggestions for her?

I am not sure she is being completely honest in telling me that she cannot move with her dog, but I would like to help her in anyway I can.

She can live in a different city. Parker, Castlerock, and Littleton do not have breed bans. She should look around a little there are also a few others that do not have bans.
