Thumbs down VP of usrc dogs used again

I don`t know if this was posted before about the USRC vp and ne rd`s dogs being used by the wwe to show our breed as vicious killers this was the cover of the wwe magazine back in I believe march 07, well they are now selling shirts with the same picture at walmart.Jc penny kohls
there is a petition set up to be delivered to these stores to get them to take these shirts off the shelves Do Not Portray Our Rottweilers In This Manner Petition

Re: VP of usrc dogs used again

Yes, I was aware of this pitiful representation of our breed. The ARC sent a very well written letter to the President of the WWE about the use of our breed, but obviously it did not deter them. Sadly, there is a lot of $$$ with the circulation of the WWE merchandise and I do not foresee the brand named stores pulling them. Furthermore and what is more depressing; if not our breed it would be another so called "vicious" breed displayed.

I believe we should shout out our disappointment with the WWE, and to the major retailers who are selling these shirts....they deserve to hear our plea. Along with our letters, we should also include educational information for their viewing pleasure.

yeah its just a shirt showing two rotts snarling held by chains giving bsl groups more amo they need to bann our breed.
The owners of these dogs are the vp and former rd of the usrc, who know how hard people are working these days to not let our dogs be banned but are too worried about making some $$$$$$ no matter the cost.
Will your tattoo be seen by hundreds of thousands kids and adults who do not know what a rott is like except thru the t-shirts or past magazine adds or the video in which they were described as vicious rotts

:
that ridiculas thats no differant than saying playing a video game will turn your teenager into a killer or rapist inexperiance owners and owners that think there dogs would never hurt anyone and people that get there hackles up over every little picture or commeents made about rotts is what fuels bsl. so your saying idf it was 2 snarling poodle or gsd's or labs they would be out to ban those breeds?????/ i'd say they already have enough fuel given them by the people that own rotts but yet dont have a clue.

well i guess me the 339 people that signed the petition so far, the ARC, the AWDF ,DVG vice president various doberman groups, jan cooper have no common sense because we find this a disgusting display of the breed done for nothing more then greed by the wwe and the owners of these dogs.

I would only hope that our breed get a cut of the profits so we could fight BSL with a bit more "bite".

The studies did not focus on the "already phsycoloical chalanged." You'd see this if you read them.

Re: VP of usrc dogs used again

if any one needs fuel for bsl all they would have to do is come to this forum or any other rott forums or gsd forums for that matter and read the behavior threaads as far back as they wanted to go they are always the same
my dog bit me/ my kid/my nieghbor/dog aggression/ he growled /he snapped/ the list goes on and on and on theres enough info just on this board to warrant a ban of dogs. go through the archive you'll feel ashamed. if people spent half the time training and socializing there dogs as they do whining and making excuses for them. or complaining about every movie or commercial that use rotts then there would not be a threat of bsl to begin with.
