| Council adopts new dangerous-dog ordinance (Pinehurst, TX) Article and link provided by fightBSL group and Jodi Preis orangeleader.com (Orange, Texas) - Pinehurst gets new roof, stringent dog law The council adopted a new dangerous-dog ordinance. “We already have an ordinance, but it has gaps,” said Tommy Gunn, city attorney. The previous ordinance did not address the issue of people leaving animals in vacant houses. The new ordinance will require people to remove an animal from a house or for the house to be occupied within 72 hours, Gunn said. In addition, the number of animals residents can have on their property has changed to any combination is four. Before the ordinance changes were made residents could have up to six animals.
