By the way, does anybody know what the music is that is used in that video. I really like it, I think it makes the video speak volumes for anybody that sees and hears it
Congrats on saving their lives Bob!! It's 2 songs, both are from the soundtrack of Chronicles of Narnia- The Narnian Lullaby, and The Battle. The whole soundtrack is awesome, very much worth buying if you like the sound!! Don't forget to post pictures of your new babies when you get them and Welcome to the Forums!!

Really glad that you have found this website as you are about to get your rotties. Two one year olds could be lively. I've seen some excellent advice on this website from people who really understand the breed. So I hope you will always ask before any little problems become bigger.
Welcome to the wonderful world of the rottie. You sound as hooked as the rest of us here. Enjoy your new babies.

Very nice video......it made me smile, and it made me teary eyed. My Sherman is a buddy dog at the nursing home where my Grandfather lives. They just love it when he comes to visit. He pushes the big blue button for the automatic doors for people who are in wheel chairs when they are going in and out from the patio.

Re: Video: The True Character of the Rottweiler

Sorry Jenna, but I don't think anyone could understand the breed until they have actually invested their time into getting to know the breed. I loved the breed before I owned one, only because family and friends had them, although, I am afraid to say that if I didn't socialize myself with the breed before owning one I am not sure if I would have chose this particular breed for myself. Now, I have owned one and would never question their loyalty and love for their owners. Dakota is more of a person than she is a dog and I would have never understood this about the breed if I didn't choose to own one. Even when I socialized with my friends and families rotties, I really didn't know how human this breed really is. Dakota understands our commands. She knows how we feel and she responds to us in a way that even friends can't. I love my girl and I wish I had more time with her, but at the young age of four years old, she has been diagnosed with lymphoma cancer. Day by day I thank God for her being here and I sometimes wonder if she was a different breed of dog, would this be so hard to cope with.

I understand when you say that you dont think anyone could understand the breed before investing their time with them, but does that mean it is ok 2 judge.?!!! I think not. But do understand your point x

Re: Video: The True Character of the Rottweiler

My boyfriend never had a dog..it took us two years but we finaly came to a point where he loves Ingo unconditionaly...he loves when Ingo is jumping all over him, when he is licking him! He was afraid of all dogs before, he is not anymore...more...he loves all dogs, specially rottweilers.
I wish more people could see the good side of rotts.
Thanks for this video...I'm still under impression! Video is great!
