Target Dog and BSL

Having seen hundreds of Target department store ads during the last month, it started to sink in that their mascot is a bull terrier. The red “target” over its eye is supposed to remind people of the old TV show, “Little Rascals”. Has anyone thought of contacting the Target corporation and asking their support in stopping BSL? Is there Target stores in Ontario, Canada? If there are, their mascot will be in jeopardy if Bill 132 is passed.
There are not any Target stores in my local area, but I would assume that they have posters and such of their Target Dog all over their stores. If a store is located in a BSL area, how does the local authorities reconcile the positive aspects of this marketing campaign with the “dangerous” bull terrier? How can the Target Corporation use a “dangerous” dog in their advertising campaign? Just thinking out loud.

Alas, as far as I know, there are no Target stores anywhere in Canada.

And the bull terrier is not listed on any bsl for ON. It is the American Staffordshire Terrier, American Pit Bull Terrier, and the Staffordshire Bull Terrier.

But it also includes any dog that has charactics of the above breeds. Believe me when I say that pols wouldn't get past the "bull" and "terrier" before they would declare it dangerous. They would say that it looked close enough to a "pit bull" and parts of its name are simliar, therefor, it must be evil.
