Hi all,

I met Alex Pierson last night in person. She is the reporter who did the wonderful 3 part series on Bill 132 last week.

The RCCBSL owns 3 "Be a Tree" Bite Prevention Teacher Kits. She has borrowed the Ontario kit for her 1-hour call in show tonight at 9:00pm to 10:00pm. The importance of Education needs to be discussed and she is hoping to have time to refer to the different programs available.

She will have several experts tonight - this show will also be a live call in show. If you go to:

Alex has invited Mr. Bryant but highly doubts that he will attend (in fact he has refused and called her a 'hack reporter' because she moved the graphics around when she gave him the "Find the Pit Bull" test). Her interview with him has been quoted widely in the Ontario Legislature last night with "We SAW you on TV! You couldn't find the Pit Bull!!!" She's very proud of her representation of this cause, as she should well be. We are very lucky to have her on our side.

If you can call into tonights show - please do. If you can't - please watch. Bill 132 isn't only about a pit bull ban. It is also about people without training, calling a dog 'menacing' and our dogs being seized - ALL BREEDS. There is no recourse, no due diligence, nothing. This is a danger to all of our dogs and our rights to have them. This bill must be defeated.

Also, she has received over 500 emails against the ban. I'm sure she'd appreciate some more! You can find it on the website.
