Recent Breed Banning

The subdivision I am moving into recently banned (9) breeds of dogs, including Rottweilers. Many of the breeds already live in the subdivision.

Obviously I, being a Rott owner, will do everything to fight this. Please help if you can. My story is in the front page of the New Orleans, LA Times Picayune on Sunday October 31, 1999.

I also just read about this in the Trenton Times newspaper. Anything I can do to help as in letters, e-mails etc. Please let me know. Discrimination of any kind is a regression and discredit to all that fought so hard in the sixties and seventies for civil rights and to make this great country what it is today.

For your information, as we "talk" in this group, the European Community throughout their established Parliament has in its agenda to ban several dog breeds including the Rottweiler... and the same mood is spreading throughout the USA... but most Rottie owners want to live in denial: "It won't happen!"... it is

Can you tell me if this like an association at this sub-division. I was notified about it but have not been able to get specific information. If it is a private association of /homeowners, there may not be too much that can be done other than a civil lawsuit...http://www.rottweiler.net/rottie/icons/icon9.gif
