Florida - Breed Specific

Florida: Rep Tracy Stafford has introduced H355, a bill that would permit municipalities to pass breed-specific legislation. H355 woudl change the state's exisiting law, which precluded cities from enacting such legislation. In January the house Interim committee on Community Affairs reporting the bill favorable with amendment.

Lisi..go to Jan's BLS site and pull up all the states big wigs addresses. Put pen to paper and send them in. Get all the local Rottie owners together to do the same. Find out dates and times for the meetings and attend them. Voice your opinion! Get FACTS about how BLS wont solve anything! Compare notes from other states and what they are doing. Get involved and please, DO SOMETHING!! Im in NC right now, but a legal resident of Florida. Email me and we will start this together!!

Please, I know there are a lot of people on this board whom are from the sunshine state......PLEASE GET INVOLVED WITH THIS ASAP!!!!!! It could be your town, city or county next!! Don't let them take your rights away due to unethical breeders and irresponsible owners! Take action now!
