Tail Docking

Hello. I am new to this group. I just got my very first Rott. He is a male nine weeks old. He is a very sweet little boy. But the breeder forgot to dock his tail. I am wanting to get his tail docked, but I am scared that it will hurt him too much now. I am wondering if it is too late to do it. Also what is a good name? I went out and spoiled him with chew toys and treats. I also own two pugs and two ferrets. He is kind of acting like he is the boss of everything. I know that right now is a very important time to show him who is in charge. He is starting to learn very well. That is making me very happy. Also I am wanting to know what is a good way to potty train him?
If anybody can help me I would be very thankful.
