It is important to title a thread with some indication of the topic contained within it. The reason it's important is so the forum features can function properly and for others to have an idea about the topic by reading the title.

Therefore, generic thread titles will no longer be accepted on these forums. Should a member submit a generic thread title such as, please help, please read, help needed, this is important, yada yada yada........this will no longer be acceptable and are subject to removal.

Welcome to the Behavior Forum.

Here is where we discuss the various aspects of behavior concerning our great breed. There are times our dogs exhibit a behavior that we don’t understand, or have experience with, and we need to call on our fellow members to fill in the blanks. This is the place for that. This forum can also be used to explain a behavior that you may already understand but wish to share your useful knowledge with the other members. One thing this forum cannot do is is fix or resolve serious behavioral issues. While the members may be able to offer valuable insight into a problem, and some possible solutions, the best solution for serious problems is always one that involves a home visit by a qualified behaviorist or trainer.
If everyone can keep in mind that we are in this forum to discuss the behavior of our dogs, not the people that own them, then we will have many informative threads that can be useful when researching the many types of behavior exhibited by our wonderful breed. I appreciate your cooperation in making this a useful forum full of useful information.
