Thanks To All Who Gave Me Their Excellent Advice

[B][SIZE=3][FONT=courier new][COLOR=blue]
Hello all.[COLOR=royalblue] You may rememeber I was having problems keeping my 8wk old pup Kaiser off the sofa?
Just a quick note to say thanks for everyones help...
I decided on a compromise
Hes allowed up when Im not on it.....but as soon as its time to get off and make room for us humans...he has TO GO!
It works.
Allowing him a little bit of lee-way has made us all happy. He dosnt resist getting down now and I still get to have my 40winks in peace.
Thanks all:D
Now if I could just keep him from chasing the cats.........lol

HA!! Good luck on that one...only kidding!

Carry a squirt bottle of water and when you catch him about to start the chase, give him a firm loud "NO!" while at the same time squirting him on the butt. Of course, immediately praise him when he stops the unwanted behavior, but keep at it...he'll get the message soon enough...unless of course, he's a water lovin' Rott!! Then, he'l think mommy's got a new game for him....but if he stops the chase, then you've succeeded!

Good luck!:D
